Crafting Idea:
Make a playdough model of the Earth with all layers.
Roll a small playdough ball for the inner core. Cover this with multiple layers for the outer core, mantle, and crust. Make the last layer blue and put green patches for land. You can even put some white on top and bottom for the North and South Pole. Take pictures of the Earth model. Now, cut your beautiful Earth model with floss/thread. Do not use a knife otherwise the cut will not be clean. Take pictures again with your happy, excited children!

While making the model with your children, keep on repeating the names of the layers and do tell them the amazing facts about Earth’s layers. Make learning fun!
