Once the child can trace basic curves, slanting, and straight lines, it is time to learn how to trace capital letters.

It is better to begin first with capital letters as they have fewer curves than lowercase letters.
Hence, these worksheets are for helping children trace their first letters. I would recommend that before giving a pencil to your child or student, start these worksheets with crayons as crayons are easier to be gripped by little hands.

Each worksheet also has a coloring activity so that the children don’t get bored by just tracing. Each picture for coloring also starts with the correct letter so that parents and teachers can also teach the sound of the letter at the same time.
