They let us talk about actions that happened before a certain point or are finished at a specific time. There are three main perfect tenses: present perfect, past perfect, and future perfect.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Present Perfect Tense<\/b><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let&#8217;s start with the present perfect tense. It is used to describe actions that began in the past and are still happening now or just finished. For example:\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"color: #38761d;\">&#8220;She has eaten breakfast.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here, eating breakfast started in the past and just finished.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Past Perfect Tense<\/b><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next, we have the past perfect tense. It is used to talk about actions that were finished before another past action. For instance:\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"color: #674ea7;\">&#8220;He had finished his homework before dinner.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here, finishing homework happened before dinner, showing the order of events.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Future Perfect Tense<\/b><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lastly, there is the future perfect tense. It is like predicting the outcome of a game before it is played! It is used to discuss actions that will be finished before a certain point in the future. For example:\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>&#8220;By tomorrow, they will have completed the project.&#8221;\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here, completing the project will be finished before tomorrow comes.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Practice Makes Perfect!<\/b><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">To help you master perfect tenses, I have prepared some exciting worksheets for you to download and enjoy.
